Sage is a markup language used to generate web pages for the Sage Wiki. The Enterprise team developed Sage as a replacement for the combination of Word documents and Guru discussion forums. The Enterprise team also enhanced DSEdit, adding a new Sage IDE, for authoring and previewing Sage content.

Sage was heavily influenced by Markdown, but it is a separate language, with several novel features.
