Overview
Introducing Tusk
Tusk is an interpreted programming language with a high degree of compatibility with Delphi. Tusk is the next generation version of MiniCalc, addressing the many shortcomings of its predecessor. Tusk offers more type safety, more similarity with Delphi, more thorough library support, more accurate documentation, and a cleaner language. Some of the more notable features of Tusk include static type safety, static scoping, optional parentheses when calling parameterless routines, and RTTI-based documentation. Tusk is still a work in progress, but in time, it will replace MiniCalc as the scripting language used by VDB Explorer, Hermes, DSConfig files, DBScripts, and so on.
